Clarke County Memorial Post 9760 VFW is hiring a canteen manager. Our Post canteen offers a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere where members can participate in a variety of activities, watch games or just relax while enjoying one of the many different types of beers, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and food the Post has to offer.

     The canteen manager position manages the day-to-day operation of the Post canteen and reports directly to the Post House Committee. Responsibilities include managing bar staff, food and drink distributor orders and complying with VFW and government regulations related to the operation of the post and its charitable gaming activities.

     Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Starting hourly rate of $15-$22 per hour with a minimum expectation of 20 hours a week of management duties not including any bartending shifts.

     A member in good standing of the VFW, VFW Auxiliary, or veteran status is preferred but not required.
